This may have resulted in strained relationships, particularly among couples as many experiences a sudden change in living conditions, distance, and even power dynamics.

About the panel

Ivy Tan – Head of Counselling, ThoughtFull (Moderator)
Ivy is a Counselling Psychologist and Licensed and Registered Counsellor in Malaysia with over 10 years of experience in the mental health care industry. She specializes in counseling and psychotherapy for individuals, families, and adolescents living with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges as well as psychological disorders. Ivy sits on the board of the Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Malaysia (AMFTM).

Avis Ng – Professional Counsellor, Rekindle
Avis is a Malaysian licensed counselor with over 7 years of experience in clinical counseling. She is certified in PREPARE/ENRICH couple relationship assessment, and PREP relationship education program. Avis specialises in couples/ relationship therapy using a combination of Satir couple therapy and Emotion Focus therapy. She has experience working with couples facing extramarital affairs, couples undergoing separation and divorce, and well as rekindling couple’s intimacy.

Louis Chen – Trained Counsellor
Louis is a trained counselor who has worked in both the government sector and corporate setting. She believes individual development and family experience is interconnected. Her passion is in empowering working parents in areas of personal development, marriage, and family well-being. Louis is also involved in children's work, focusing on early emotional awareness and management.
